Goldman Sachs and BNY Mellon are collaborating to allow institutional clients to invest in tokenized funds, marking a significant step toward blockchain integration in traditional finance. The initiative will leverage Goldman's DAP blockchain for ownership record-keeping while offering access to money market funds.

BlackRock, Fidelity Investments, and Federated Hermes are among the early participants, alongside the asset management divisions of both banks. "As the financial system transitions toward a more digital, real-time architecture, BNY is committed to enabling scalable and secure solutions," said Laide Majiyagbe, Global Head of Liquidity at BNY Mellon.

The move reflects accelerating institutional adoption of blockchain infrastructure, with Wall Street increasingly bridging the gap between conventional finance and digital assets. No specific cryptocurrencies are named in the initiative, suggesting a focus on tokenized traditional assets rather than native crypto products.
